Salmon River Trail

What a perfect day off together! We enjoyed Presidents Day with an awesome hike along the Salmon River up by Zigzag near Mt. Hood. Although the trail had some icy patches, we just slid/skated through those areas and tromped through the fresh snow. The water was absolutely crystal clear. It was definitely a hat/mitten day but the brisk pace kept us warm.

  1. Congrats on the new blog! Now good luck in keeping posting, we did good and now kind of hit a lull where we are lucky if we post once every week and a half :)

Anyhow, the weather/walk looks wonderful, wish I could've been there. It is so cold here in Minnesota, I took the stroller, but don't want to take it out as it is cold and there is snow everywhere. It is noticibly different weather than Madison.
